This butter is produced and sold under a pet food certification and is approved for pet use only.
At this time, there is no regulatory pathway to certify raw butter for human consumption. If there were, we’d gladly pursue it. For now, we make this butter from our raw milk (which is certified for human consumption in Pennsylvania), using the same simple, traditional method we'd use for the butter we make at home for our families.
That said, raw butter isn’t just appreciated by people—it can be enjoyed by pets as well. Many cats and dogs love it straight from a bowl, or mixed into their regular food. A small spoonful can be added to raw meat, wet food, or even kibble as an occasional supplement.
Please note: dairy should not be a primary food for cats or dogs. It's best used sparingly—as a treat or short-term addition. When used this way, raw dairy can offer added moisture and naturally occurring probiotics.
